AJSE in its interest in seeking new professional opportunities for its partners, has commissioned the prestigious company ATGROUP to carry out a survey on the level of compliance with the LOPDGDD and the RGPD in companies from the Private Security sector.
The Association of Heads of Security of Spain, (AJSE), since its creation has promoted a culture of regulatory compliance among all its partners and supporters. For years it has been common to carry out dissemination, training and knowledge dissemination actions for Private Security professionals, especially for the group of Security Chiefs.
Among the legal obligations established by the current Organic Law 3/2018 of December 5, 2018, there is one especially linked to PRIVATE SECURITY companies, specifically article 34. Section “ñ†establishes the need for companies to of Private Security have designated a Data Protection Delegate before the Spanish Agency for Data Protection, who performs the functions of link, support, and coordination established by the European RGPD.
AJSE has wanted to promote the figure of the Chief of Security, both in the classic functions of personnel control and training, as well as in new professional challenges such as that of a regulatory compliance officer, or Compliance Officer, or in the present case of the PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION DELEGATE (DPD) for Private Security companies.
ATGROUP, supporting AJSE's privacy training initiatives, has designed a Survey of the Private Security Sector, through representative sampling, an action that aims to directly “monitor†the real situation and verify the level of privacy compliance of Private Security companies.
An approach will also be made to other realities, detecting the new training and professional needs that the 21st Century brings for Security Managers (e.g. IoT, I.A, etc).
With the data obtained, the reports, reports and the corresponding dissemination actions will be anonymized and carried out, both in the media and on social networks.
