The "LaLiga" app has been sanctioned by the Spanish Agency for Data Protection (AEPD) with a sum of 250,000 euros for violating the principle of transparency of the GDPR. The fact occurred this year, when it became known that the application used by thousands of users, had the purpose of spying. The app activated the access to the microphone of the device in which the application was installed next to the geolocation of the users, to be able to detect the signal of the televisions in bars that emitted the football matches in a pirate way.
