CONFERENCE ON THE NEW GENERAL REGULATION OF DATA PROTECTION OF THE EU.
New challenges of personal data protection.
On July 26, the AAA-NAID EUROPA conference was held in Madrid, where the Spanish Agency for Data Protection in the institutional part, ATGroup were invited as speakers representing the consulting sector specialized in personal data protection and AAA- NAID EUROPA, an international organization whose members are the most prestigious companies for the secure destruction of documentation.
The convention center had a great public attendance, giving the first presentation Mr. Rafael GarcÃa, Coordinator of the External Relations Area of ​​the AEPD. The presentation dealt with the main novelties provided by the new Regulation of the EU. and the different problems that its implementation in Spain can cause. In the second presentation, the lawyer Jorge Ortega by ATGroup, made a presentation on the many problems that the adaptation of the new EU regulation represents, especially in companies with more than 250 workers, or professionals and data management companies specially protected (doctors, hospitals, clinics, etc).
In the third presentation, Mr. Bob Johnson excused himself for problems of liaison with his flight from London, and on his behalf the President of AAA-NAID SPAIN, Mr. Amadeu Roig Casanovas, gave a very interesting presentation. In this paper, the new challenges presented in the EU. Regulation were presented, while the market distortions that pseudo professional companies represent in the secure destruction of confidential documentation are emphasized.
