On July 13, the “Computer Expertise Course and Introduction to Forensic Computing†taught by EVIDENTIA to the members of the Municipal Institute of Informatics and other institutions and organizations belonging to the Barcelona City Council. The 25-hour course has been developed in two phases. A Legal-Theoretical Introduction and the second, more technical and practical; where the latest advanced forensic-electronic investigation techniques have been brought to the fore. A session was dedicated to the use of digital media cloning tools and the practice of the chain of custody in the collection, manipulation and processing of electronic evidence. Finally, on the last day we proceeded to conduct a mock oral hearing (criminal jurisdiction), where each student put into practice the knowledge acquired defending the different procedural positions (accusation and defense).
